SILICON VALLEY — January 4, 2024 — ComplianceBridge™, a leader in cloud-based policy management and risk assessment products, is thrilled to announce the launch of the latest version of Policy Management 4.2. This new version comes with several exciting new updates, including improvements to workflow automation and collaboration capabilities, security upgrades, and new integrations.

“The release of ComplianceBridge Policy Management 4.2 signals the start of a new chapter in the book of compliance software,” says Bill Harrison, co-founder and CTO of ComplianceBridge. “We’ve developed several new features and made updates to existing functionality. The result is an enhanced experience for our users.”

Specifically, the 4.2 Release, ComplianceBridge users can expect:

  • Watch Real-Time Dashboard Metrics
Review your dashboard metrics in real time to make faster, more informed decisions.
  • Collaborate With Google Docs: Users will be able to collaborate on policy drafts from within Google Docs, along with Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced Workflow Automation Tools: Users can now create, save, and revise workflow templates to be used time and again in the future.
  • New advanced HTML Editor: This allows users to create and revise documents more easily and quickly in our document management system (DMS).
  • Cutting-Edge Security Infrastructure: In partnership with our cloud provider, Rackspace, ComplianceBridge will provide users with the latest security protocols and their own database backed up daily on our U.S. servers.
  • Performance Boost: Users will notice various improvements in speed and functionality, resulting in a more enjoyable user experience.

ComplianceBridge’s integration with Google Docs allows users to continue to work in the familiar environment of Google Docs without the administrative overhead of uploading and downloading documents in order to edit them. Files can easily be uploaded to a user’s account and edited from within ComplianceBridge. All changes will always be tracked, saved, and never deleted.

“The new integration with Google Docs is particularly exciting for us,” says Harrison. “Along with our existing integration with Microsoft 365, we’re making it easier than ever to create and manage policies using the tools our customers are already familiar with.”

While integrating with Google Docs improves policy creation, the new adaptable workflow automation capabilities will streamline review and approval. With the release of 4.2, users will be able to save, reuse, and modify workflows, no matter how complex they may be. This will save significant time as users won’t have to recreate an approval workflow from scratch each time tailored to your way of doing business.

“Our goal has always been to simplify the most complicated aspects of policy management,” explains Brady Nelson, Vice President and Chief Client Officer at ComplianceBridge. “Policy approval has long been a complex process, so the ability to enhance automation performance to be faster and more secure in this area will be a tremendous benefit.”

As technology and cyber threats evolve, ComplianceBridge continues its regular updates to more robust security protocols to give our users confidence in our platform and peace of mind. New safeguards include more secure encrypted links, advanced threat detection, 24x7x365 incident response, and compliance with PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR mandates.

“Release 4.2 will represent a significant leap forward for our policy and procedure management software,” says Nelson. “We’re excited to share it with our users.”

Finally, ComplianceBridge has gone through all three million lines of software code with a fine-toothed comb to improve performance and ensure the platform runs faster and smoother than ever before. Whether users create, collaborate, revise, distribute, acknowledge, or test employee comprehension of new and updated policies and procedures, they’ll enjoy a faster, more user-friendly experience.

“In companies with multiple locations in various cities and countries,” explains Nelson, “the enhanced speed and ability to access the thousands of policy and procedure and business documents in our document management system (DMS) will bolster day-to-day operations.”
