STATELINE, NEVADA — APRIL 29, 2026 — ComplianceBridge®, a leader in cloud-based policy management and risk assessment products, is excited to announce the launch of ComplianceBridge 5.0. This release introduces users to a fully redesigned end-user portal, giving organizations unprecedented control over the look, feel, and branding of their compliance interface.
“The portal is where the majority of our customers’ users live,” said ComplianceBridge co-founder and CTO, Bill Harrison. “We wanted to give organizations a space that feels like theirs. Their colors, their graphics, and a layout that gets out of the way and lets people focus on what matters. Version 5.0 is our first major step toward making that a reality.”
What’s New in the 5.0 Portal
Fully customizable branding. Organizations can now configure the portal with their own colors, logo, header banner, and footer. Administrators can upload custom header images, set background colors, and add footer graphics or links directly from the System Settings panel.
Modernized navigation. The 5.0 portal replaces the legacy sidebar with a cleaner top-navigation layout and pull-down menus. The redesign reduces visual clutter and makes it easier for end users to move between policies, reference documents, advisory documents, and workflow tasks without navigating away from the main interface.
Clear document status indicators. The familiar red/yellow/green status system carries forward into the new portal. Red indicates an unread policy, yellow signals a document that has been read but not yet acknowledged, and green confirms a completed acknowledgement. Users can sort documents by status to prioritize their most urgent compliance tasks.
Streamlined acknowledgement workflow. End users can read, acknowledge, reject, or flag policies directly from the portal. A new configurable option, “Proceed Directly to Acknowledge,’ can be enabled per document. This setting prompts users for acknowledgement immediately upon closing a policy, reducing incomplete acknowledgements.
Built-in question routing. Users who have questions or concerns about a policy can flag it using an “I have a question” option at the acknowledgement step. The system automatically routes a notification to the user’s supervisor, including the user’s comments, enabling timely resolution before acknowledgement is completed.
Flexible document viewing with multilingual support. Policies open in a view-only format supporting Word (.docx), PDF, or HTML. For organizations with multilingual or international workforces, end users can translate policies into over 30 languages through Microsoft’s built-in translation feature.
Backward Compatibility Organizations that prefer the classic 4.2 portal layout can revert to it via a toggle in the Administrator panel, ensuring no one is forced into the new UI before they’re ready.
As this release gets rolled out to customers, stay tuned for more exciting ComplianceBridge news, including significant expansion on the platform’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) capabilities.
