In a survey from DataMotion, it was found that one in three employees don’t understand the security and compliance policies being implemented by their companies. Also, more than 50 percent of respondents said it is “somewhat likely” their company would be selected for a compliance audit and 60 percent said that they are only somewhat confident their organization would pass a compliance audit.
The survey also revealed that 75 percent believe employees occasionally violate compliance and security policies and one in five said that those who do are aware of their actions but do it anyway.
